Tetrasonics (p4)

Construction
Tetrasonics number two, after the move. When we relocated from the 25th Avenue location to the Mall Germain.
We all pitched in on the design, demolition and reconstruction of the new facility in that gutted out 2nd floor over an old shoe store. Night after night for weeks, we'd end up at the new studio after working all day and then get what we could done there before closing down a local bar with drinks and Smokehouse Almonds (it was kind of a thing).
During this time, we also went through a major equipment refresh, with a new console and a new 1" Scully 8-track deck.
I built new cabinets for the 2-track machines and we were off to the races!
Rebranding
I'm not exactly sure how long we were in the new facility before the name change occurred, but Tetrasonics Recording Studio was rebranded as Thelen Advertising.
And that made perfect sense due to the fact that the studio had come to rely heavily on advertising and jingles as its primary source of revenue.
Tetrasoncis was becoming an Advertising Agency.

Mark & Ann
Mark & Ann Thelen were more than my first real bosses.
They were my friends and my mentors. And for that, Tetrasonics will always hold a cherished place in my memory.
Sadly, Ann lost her fight with cancer in October of 2022.
(Her delightful memory will remain forever in my heart.)
