Planes?

If these were planes, they would not fly.

That's the basic premise behind the title. These are all rejects from other projects

It's a collection of some of the stuff that never made it to the Big Pizza Box collection (and for a really good reason).

A lot of these were recorded in the 4-track version of Attic Recording Studio; Circa 1986 to 1989.

Keep in mind, these are mostly experiments that were not considered "worthy" for any of the Pizza Box's (or any other public consumption for that matter).

But why save them at all, you may ask?

I think it helps you stay humble when you remember your failures . And it's a gentle--if not altogether uncomfortable--reminder of how my musical journey has progressed along the way.

Note: I did pick out some of my favorites here recently and take a stab at re-recording them for The Big Pizza Box 12 (self indulgent remakes).
