It's Human Skin

I guess you have to call this a "dark" comedy. The story revolves around two aging, failing screen writers. Now they're making one last desperate attempt at fame and fortune with a series of miserable pitches on their new musical comedy - "It's Human Skin". (since that's not an idea that was ever destined for utter failer!)

Over the years, they've enjoyed minor success with a few late night TV shows. But now, buried in the depths of depression and despair, they decide to take one last grab at that elusive brass ring. A no-holes-barred, all out shot at the top.

But why should this time turn out any different than their continual string of past failures? Is fate's hand an immovable force destined to have its way with them one last time?
