encounter - the Premier
"encounter" premiered to a great crowd on March 10, 2001 at the Belcourt Theatre in Hillsboro Village, Nashville, TN.
This marks a first for NasoChilt Productions - our first showing on a big screen (by no means an IMAX, but way bigger than our typical 62", rear-projection RCA rental).
Reaction to the film ranged from "I didn't get it" to "I didn't understand it" to "what time does the bus come by here?"
Show time was at 7:30 pm and the admission price was $4.00 a head.
With previews, credits and outtakes the whole thing lasted about an hour and a half.
Technical Difficulties
And, as with our last premier, we were beset with audio problems.
Although we'd setup everything earlier in the day and meticulously run through and checked everything out, a little way into the screening, the left side of the house audio started intermittently cutting out.
I was mortified, but at that point in time we pretty much had to roll with it!
